Job Description - Technical Sales Manager

  • University degree with 5 years of experience in industrial sales
  • Good knowledge of the local market and territory
  • Knowledge of industrial lubricants (an asset)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of a CRM (Salesforce an asset).
  • Dynamism, commercial acumen, and good negotiation skills
  • Organization, rigor, and autonomy

TotalEnergies Marketing Canada Inc., headquartered in Montreal (QC), produces and distributes a wide range of high-performance lubricants for the automotive sector (light vehicles, heavy-duty, and off-road) and the industrial sector (machining oils, metalworking fluids, hydraulic oils, and others).

As a member of the Industrial Sales team, you will be responsible for monitoring and developing a portfolio of clients and prospects of various sizes, from SMEs to large industrial units in various sectors: steel, chemistry, energy, automotive, equipment manufacturers, agri-food, etc., in the Greater Toronto area.

Main Responsibilities

  • Consolidate existing customers and develop sales and margins according to TotalEnergies’ commercial policy.
  • Develop the service offer (analysis of oils in service, training, audit) and coordinate sales for Key Accounts.
  • Monitor the commercial relationship and traceability in the CRM Salesforce, prepare technical-commercial proposals, and provide technical support to customers.
  • Actively participate in market knowledge, analysis of results, and development of objectives.
  • Contribute to the launch of new ranges and the development of innovative commercial offers, as well as debt recovery and the improvement of TotalEnergies’ operations.
