On behalf of our client, we are actively looking for a Technical Sales Representative. This role will be based in Milton, ON. The companyis a leading manufacturer and supplier of advanced industrial machinery. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic company!
Position Summary: The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of our client's machines across Canada. This role involves identifying potential clients, developing strong customer relationships, and effectively promoting the products to meet and exceed sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industrial machinery and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base for horizontal boring machines.
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand their needs and requirements.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Conduct regular follow-ups with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional sales.
Data Management in our internal CRM Database
Product Promotion:
Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of our horizontal boring machines to potential customers.
Conduct on-site visits to customer locations to provide product demonstrations and technical support.
Sales Administration:
Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and presentations.
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain concise written reports after each phone call or in-person interaction with customers.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other members of the sales team, marketing department, technical support team & head office in the Czech Republic to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and promote our machines.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the industrial machinery, cutting tools or manufacturing sector.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Skills and Competencies:
Strong familiarity of the machine tool industry, cutting tools or similar industrial equipment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite & Google Workspace.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel across Canada and from time to time to head office in Europe.
