We’re looking for technical writer at the start or in the first few years of their career looking to grow.

Responsibilities

As a writer on the Tecsys' Elite Documentation Team, you will participate in all or some of the following:

·       Creating customer documentation from user stories for healthcare applications

• Creating sample scenarios using new features and taking screenshots
• Writing scripts for videos
• Creating short videos explaining new features
• Updating API documentation
• Updating company-facing documentation for internal users
• Copyediting help updates
• Participating in meetings with QA, designers, developers and product managers
• Assisting in localization
• Maintaining schedules
• Engaging in special projects - such as investigating new tools.

Qualifications

If you have most of the following qualifications (even if you don't check every box) we encourage you to apply.

·       Experience with authoring tools such as oXygen, Structured FrameMaker, XMetaL, MadCap Flare

• Understanding of structured authoring and DITA concepts
• Familiarity/experience with pharmacy/healthcare
• Familiarity/experience with supply chain software
• Strong oral communication and writing skills (we will want to see examples preferably of a technical nature)
• Curious technical aptitude – you don’t need to be a developer, but you do need to know how to communicate effectively and understand baseline concepts
• Proactive (this is a rapidly changing agile environment and you need to be able to adjust to evolving circumstances).
• Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.

What else could give you an edge?
