We are growing and looking for a Technical Designer who can take ownership of turning design concepts into precise, buildable, and install-ready technical packages.
This is not a conceptual design role — this is a hands-on, production-focused position.
What You will Be Responsible For
Translate design concepts into fully detailed technical drawings ready for fabrication, purchasing, and installation
Produce shop drawings, construction drawings, and installation packages
Create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks /AutoCAD
Develop cut lists, BOMs, and fabrication-ready documentation
Ensure all drawings reflect real-world constraints, materials, tolerances, and cost efficiencies (value engineering)
Coordinate with production, installation, and project management teams to ensure feasibility and execution
Integrate AV components (monitors, LED systems, lighting, electrical requirements) into designs
Review and validate architectural drawings, site conditions, and field measurements
Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA requirements, and safety standards
Identify risks early (installation conflicts, tolerances, material issues) and propose solutions
Own revisions and updates from concept through final delivery
What We are Looking For
5+ years of experience in technical drafting, fabrication drawings, or construction detailing
Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks / AutoCAD or similar tools (mandatory)
Experience producing:
Shop drawings
Construction / fit-out drawings
Assembly and installation packages
Understanding of:
Materials (metal, wood, acrylic, glass, etc.)
Manufacturing and fabrication processes
Structural considerations and mounting systems
Familiarity with:
Electrical layouts, AV systems, LED integration, and lighting
Strong understanding of architectural drawings and coordination
Knowledge of ADA and general building codes (especially for public spaces like hospitals)
Ability to own deliverables end-to-end with minimal supervision
We are looking for both full-time employee and subcontractors.

Experience working on custom fabrication or experiential environments
Exposure to interior fit-outs, millwork, or signage systems
Strong problem-solving and value engineering mindset
Ability to balance speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency
Experience working closely with production teams or installers
Assessment Requirement
As part of the hiring process, you will complete a practical technical assignment to demonstrate your ability to translate a concept into a build-ready drawing package.
