Description
The Technology Technician is responsible for the installation and support for Product Link Technology and other equipment support in field EM Services as required.

In a typical day, YOU will :
- Demonstrate safe work and environmentally sound behaviors at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives.
- Schedule and perform Product Link installations and troubleshooting in the field
- Conduct repairs to minimize downtime and reduce cost
- Complete service reports and work order details
- Complete before failure Service Letters
- Complete equipment inspections as required
- Perform Maintenance Inspections
- Perform after hours/on-call/overnight rotations and travel to assigned territories weekly
Must-haves for this role :
- Post Secondary Education (A Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician would be an asset)
- Highly safety conscious with solid experience with electrical and electronic troubleshooting
- Customer centric with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and analytical with excellent relationship management
- Effective time-management and planning with the ability to quickly adapt to multiple and often changing schedules and priorities
- Organized with the ability to maintain a high level of customer service in a fast paced, deadline driven work force
- Positive team player and proactive in delivering solutions with a sense of urgency
- Process improvement mindset with strong problem solving abilities
- Self-motivated with strong initiative, high integrity and the ability to make independent decisions
- Well-developed computer skills and familiarity with Cat Systems would be an asset
- Willing and able to work flexible hours and travel extensively in support of business requirements
- A valid Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract
