Temporary Senior Kindergarten Teacher – 1.0 FTE

We are currently seeking a Temporary Full-Time Senior Kindergarten Teacher to cover a leave of absence.

 Qualifications:

• Current TRB Certification.


• Bachelor’s degree in Education.


• Commitment to children and to supporting their individual learning goals.


• Ability to build positive relationships with school colleagues, students and parents.


• Skill in differentiating instruction and fostering a collaborative and creative environment with faculty and staff.


• Ability to use a wide range of learning strategies and teaching styles according to the needs of the class and the students.


• A commitment to excellence in teaching, collaboration and ongoing professional growth.


• Possess a comprehensive background in the BC Ministry of Education core subject areas.


• A proficiency with using technology to enhance the curriculum.


• Excellent communication, creative problem solving and organizational skills.

This position falls within the parameters of the bargaining unit.
