Job Description - Territory Manager, Pet Division, (North & Eastern Quebec)

Kane Veterinary Supplies est un distributeur et agent manufacturier canadien, offrant l’excellence dans la distribution de produits de haute qualité à la fine pointe des tendances du marché et à forte valeur ajoutée dans les domaines vétérinaire, animalier, agricole et équestre, et ce à travers le Canada.

Représentant des ventes, division animaux de compagnie, nord du Québec

Responsabilités : sur la route (80%) ventes interne / administration (20%)

  • Superviser un territoire de vente établi de détaillants de produits pour animaux dans la province du Québec.
  • Effectuer des visites régulières, de découvertes, ceci afin de maintenir et développer le territoire assigné.
  • Établir et maintenir des relations solides avec les partenaires au sein de l’entreprise et dans l’industrie des animaux de compagnie.
  • Fournir des rapports d’activités, des rapports de dépenses et des rapports de visites/appels.
  • Travailler de manière efficace et organisée, au sein d’une équipe pour atteindre les objectifs de vente régionale.
  • Saisie des commandes et préparations de devis.
  • Assister et s’occuper des crédits et retours.
  • Démontrer une grande capacité d’adaptation.

Exigences:

  • Très axé service client et soucieux du détail
  • Expérience de vente, interne et externe, de préférence dans l’industrie.
  • Voyagement et nuitée a l’extérieur.
  • Excellent sens de l’organisation.
  • Connaissance avancée de l’informatique et de MS Office.
  • Attitude positive, disciplinée, motivée, orientée vers les résultats et ayant un bon esprit d’équipe.
  • Solides compétences en communication écrite et verbale ainsi qu’une grande capacité d’écoute est indispensable.
  • Dois maîtriser le français et l’anglais (parlé, lu et écrit).
  • Expérience en santé animale est un atout.
  • Ce poste offre une rémunération compétitive qui comprend un salaire de base, des primes, une assurance collective et une allocation pour véhicule.
  • Salaire :  négociable

Kane Veterinary Supplies is a Canadian wholesale distributor and manufacturer agent, providing excellence in distribution of the highest quality, cutting edge, value-laden products to the pet retail, veterinary, agricultural, and equine markets across Canada.

Territory Manager, Pet Division, Northern Quebec Region

Responsibilities: 80% field sales – 20% inside sales/administration

  • Oversee an established dealer and pet retail sales territory within the Province of Quebec.
  • Develop and execute a sales coverage plan.
  • Make regular sales calls and cold calls to pet specialty stores in Quebec.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with peers, and business partners within our industry.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of all activities by providing expense reports and call reports.
  • Work effectively and efficiently within a team environment to achieve regional sales targets.
  • Keep Management informed of industry news and development.
  • Key in orders and prepare quotations.
  • Oversee and take care of customer credits and returns.

Requirements:

  • Highly customer service oriented and focused on detail.
  • Industry related sale experience preferred.
  • Strong and effective communication and planning skills.
  • Travel with overnight stays.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Computer literate with excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, result oriented and disciplined team player.
  • Animal health experience is an asset.
  • Must be fluent in both French and English (speaking, reading & writing)

This position offers a competitive compensation package which includes a base salary, bonus incentives, group insurance benefits, and a vehicle allowance.  Optional incentives include an RRSP program with company matched contributions (DPSP) and an Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), eligibility requirements apply.

Salary:  Negotiable
