Eaton\u2019s Electrical sector is seeking 2 Territory Sales Manager for our Critical Power and Distributed Infrastructure (CPDI) division based out of our Delta, BC facility. This role is a full time permanent position that offers benefits from day one. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nYou will be responsible for leading British Columbia in the sale \u0026 promotion of all CPDI product and service offerings; including three phase and single-phase UPS, software, connectivity and peripheral products, replacement batteries and monitoring products. These offerings are sold through multiple channels including distributors, two tier channel partners, engineers/specifiers, and direct. Must have the ability to manage our sales partners as well as drive sales to end user customers through value selling of Eaton. \n \n\n\nEssential Functions: \n\u2022 Lead the effort in managing and maintaining relationships within a network of distribution partners for CPDI products \u0026 services. \n\u2022 Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans within assigned sales region, through distributors, resellers and direct. \n\u2022 Maintain and manage profitability in the region. \n\u2022 Work in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager and national teams to promote a unified front to the customer, drive consistency and process improvement across geographies, share best practices, and drive growth. \n\u2022 Build Capabilities throughout the region, through active engagement with other Eaton Divisions. \n\u2022 Manage and update sales funnels, reports and regular forecasts. \n\u2022 Prepare and present comprehensive business reviews of assigned customers, identifying performance against goal/budget on regular basis, detailed forecast for the rest of the year with deep dive analysis. \n\u2022 Maintain a high level of expertise of all applications and trends to effectively promote Eaton CPDI products and solutions. Complete ongoing training on both functional and technical skills \n\u2022 Gather and leverage the voice of customer to recommend new or modified programs enabling the competitive position to be maintained in the market. \n\u2022 Utilize negotiation skills to influence and resolve complex problems, capture value and influence all stakeholders to drive results. \n\u2022 Maintain positive relationship with Customer Service teams and serve as an escalation point to ensure all customer inquiries, orders, invoices, payments, and complaints are dealt with quickly and effectively. \n\u2022 Promote and emulate a culture that reflects our Eaton Leadership Attributes \u0026 Values which include high performance, inclusion and diversity, continuous improvement, and excellence in quality of work\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Requirements: \n\u2022 Post secondary diploma or degree in a relevant discipline or a combination of relevant work experience and or education \n\u2022 Minimum 3 - 5 years of technical sales experience in the electrical/ datacommunications and/ or IT infrastructure. \n\n\u2022 Valid and unrestricted driver\u0027s licence. \n\u2022 Ability to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future. \n \nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 P.Eng or C.E.T designation is preferred \n\u2022 Minimum 5 years of experience working with and having technical involvement with power quality electrical products and assemblies. \n\u2022 Minimum 5 years of experience working with and having technical involvement within the Canadian IT Market involving UPS, connectivity, and peripherals \n\u2022 1 year experience using data analytics; digital marketing \n\u2022 Knowledge and application of support for B2B and B2C businesses\n\n## Position Criteria:\n\n\u2022 Travel requirements: Up to 40% \n\u2022 Time and Territory Management skills; allowing you to increase contract closure rates while meeting sales and profitability goals \n\u2022 Sales Planning skills and follow-through \n\u2022 Ability to leverage internal resources to promote customer solutions \n\u2022 Strong business acumen with proven sales strategic plan implementation with measurable results. \n\u2022 Strong interpersonal skills \n\u2022 Strong team player that actively contributes to the group\u2019s success \n\u2022 Excellent written and oral communication skills in addition to strong organizational skills \n\u2022 Strong computer skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet\n\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
