Tim Hortons-Afternoon Shift Lead

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Afternoon Shift Lead to join our Tim Hortons team!

As an Afternoon Shift Lead, you will play an important role in leading and supporting Team Members throughout the shift while ensuring exceptional guest service, operational standards, food quality, cleanliness, and safety requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support Team Members throughout the afternoon and evening shift


• Ensure exceptional guest service is delivered at all times


• Assign duties and provide direction to Team Members based on operational needs


• Coach and support Team Members to maintain Tim Hortons operational standards


• Assist with training and onboarding new Team Members


• Monitor food quality, product availability, cleanliness, and overall restaurant presentation


• Ensure all required operational, food safety, temperature, cleaning, and waste logs are completed accurately


• Assist with cash handling and shift procedures as required


• Monitor staffing levels and support the team during busy periods


• Communicate any operational, staffing, safety, or employee concerns to management


• Lead by example and promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment


• Assist with closing procedures and ensure the restaurant is prepared for the following day

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a quick-service restaurant or food service environment


• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills


• The ability to coach, motivate, and provide direction to Team Members


• A strong commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction


• Knowledge of food safety, cleanliness, and health and safety standards


• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


• Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
