Cabin Resources Management Ltd. has built a foundation of experience and dedication to quality and innovative solutions in four main divisions: forestry, environmental operations, recreation solutions and wildfire management. We are currently looking to add a Timber Cruiser to our Forestry team.
Responsibilities:
Timber cruising, cruise plan submissions, final submissions and coordinating cruising crews
Reporting hardware and software issues, safely using handheld devices and filing
Committing to high safety standards that align with the Project Manager
This position is predominantly field-based
Qualifications and Experience:
A proven commitment to safety
Experience with Timber Cruising in the interior of BC
Registered or eligible for registration as Accredited Timber Cruiser or Accredited Timber Evaluator
Sound knowledge of the FLNRO Cruising Manual and associated legislation and regulations including familiarity with call grading procedures
Valid Class 5 Drivers License and legally allowed to work in Canada
A huge passion for forestry and be an awesome team member
All other forestry experience is considered an asset
