Topman/Gradeperson

Option Excavating is hiring an experienced Topman/Gradeperson for immediate full-time employment.

The successful candidate will work closely with equipment operators and foremen to ensure accurate grades, elevations, and layout for underground water and sewer projects.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain grade using laser and survey equipment.


• Direct equipment operators during excavation.


• Read and interpret construction drawings and grade stakes.


• Verify elevations and alignments.


• Assist with project layout and quality control.


• Promote a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Topman or Gradeperson.


• Knowledge of underground utility construction.


• Ability to read construction drawings and grades.


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


• Strong commitment to safety.
