Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent Position



Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day

Duties & Responsibilities



  • Provide administrative support to the mine site as needed.

  • Create and manage purchase requisitions.

  • Order and manage supplies for the mine site as needed.

  • Provide administrative support to the training department.

  • Maintain updated tracking and database for crews and training.

  • Conduct new hire orientations and assist with presentation material.

  • Input all training records.

  • Coordinate, schedule, and complete work orders for maintenance and repairs on light duty vehicles.

  • Assist with allocating and tracking for light duty vehicles.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial accruals.

  • Monitor and report on explosive usage.

  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.


Education, Experience & Qualifications



  • High School Diploma

  • Valid Driver's License

  • At least 1-2 years' experience in an office environment.

  • Previous experience in the mining industry or an industrial setting is an asset.


Technical Competencies & Skills



  • Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Proven safety and attendance record.

  • Proficiency in prioritizing tasks and effective time management.

  • Ability to remain calm and work effectively in emergent, high-stress situations.

  • Above average computer skills, with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially spreadsheets and databases.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to act with integrity, good judgment, and discretion, with a strong emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.

  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills, able to manage tasks independently.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with peers, trainees, and leadership.

Specifically for the Operations Administrator role, we offer an annual base salary range of $55,000.00 - $70,000.00, along with a variety of bonuses, including a monthly efficiency bonuses based on safety and production targets, and quarterly retention bonuses.
