Job Description - Transition Specialist

In this role, the successful candidate will provide support to our transitioning advisors by helping them navigate the onboarding process via training, regular calls, and practice management. They will act as a senior resource to their advisors and as the conduit between advisor and head office. Their focus is to know business practices of their advisors and work with them to successfully transition their business to Aligned Capital Partners, Inc. A good understanding of the industry coupled with soft skills to work calmly in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks for multiple advisors.

What you will do:

  • Act as the main point of contact for the advisor and their team during a transition
  • Assist and prepare the advisor with pre- and post- registration actions as outlined by the protocol in our transition guide and roadmap
  • Ensure coordination between all departments for all transition-related items
  • Assess issues and engage executive where needed on urgent or exceptional matters
  • Train advisor on all systems required for transitioning assets and managing their book of business thereafter
  • Collaborate with Transition Support Associate on tracking account opening and asset movement to ensure assets arrive in a timely manner

You will Bring

  • University degree or College diploma is preferred
  • At least 2 years of work experience providing client service in the investment, banking, or related industries
  • Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • A demonstrated collaborative approach to solving problems
  • Experience with industry-related client service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Completion of CSC and CPH is an asset, and if you do not have them completed, it is expected that these courses are completed within a year

This opportunity is for an existing vacancy with the company. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $42,500 - $71,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program.
