Responsibilities
As Transloader/Forklift Operator at our Alberta Reload Logistics Division, you will:
Unload materials such as dry bulk products and larger industrial materials Perform quantity and quality checks of materials Operate low and high capacity forklifts Operate a shunt truck Assist with general yard clean up and maintenance. Perform manual labour tasks and support operations. Work in adherence to all safe work practices, procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of yard, shop, department, or work crew Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
You Possess
A strong work ethic and a positive attitude A strong safety mindset Ability to prioritize a daily workload in a fast paced and dynamic environment Ability to demonstrate leadership in a team based environment Willingness to learn new tasks and become highly efficient in all areas of our operation Previous Lead Hand experience is an asset Previous experience on forklifts is an asset Previous experience on a shunt truck is an asset Previous warehouse experience is an asset Ability to climb ladders and lift 50lbs Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
