Your Role

Day to Day

• Plan and execute daily truck dispatch; maximize efficient routing, loading, and haul‑back opportunities.
• Monitor driver logs, hours of service, CVOR compliance, and address violations.
• Support driver safety, training, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Coordinate fleet maintenance, inspections, service scheduling, and adherence to transportation policies.
• Manage driver scheduling, payroll, and after‑hours on‑call support.
• Use Omnitracs for GPS tracking, reporting, communication, and developing KPIs.
• Ensure adherence to biosecurity protocols, feed delivery requirements, and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct audits (gap, garage, ride‑alongs) and maintain centralized records for insurance, maintenance, accidents, and logs.
• Oversee equipment purchasing, cost tracking, and annual licensing requirements.
• Lead transportation policy standardization and support accident investigation and prevention.

Required Qualifications

• College diploma in transportation/logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent experience.
• Experience driving trucks and transportation-specific Health & Safety training
• Ability to participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours delivery or customer‑service needs
• Exceptional attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems, including MS Office.
