Treasury Manager

Description

• Develop and monitor treasury policies, procedures and controls
• Identify and implement treasury-related business process improvements
• Monitor and oversee bank account services, including bank account administration for opening and closing accounts, as well as know-your-client requests from financial institutions
• Maintain the legal entity database and internal org charts
• Review and approve electronic disbursements (e.g. wire transfers, transfers, tax and bill payments), ensuring that transactions have appropriate documentation and authorization
• Analyze and solve problems stemming from payment processes
• Monitor cash transactions to ensure bank account balances and unusual items are investigated
• Review and approve monthly cash tracker
• Serve as primary administrator on online banking platforms
• Perform periodic review of bank fees and deposit interest
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members
• Support acquisitions, dispositions and special projects as required

• Minimum 5 years of treasury experience
• Strong understanding of banking systems, services and cash management best practices
• Able to work autonomously, and comfortable working cross-functionally with other teams
• Strong attention to detail, proactively following up when needed to ensure outstanding information or actions are completed on time
• Strong internal and external communication skills, taking into consideration the audience when presenting the information
• Eager to learn, and comfortable with changing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter and a confident individual who possesses excellent time management and organization skills, a strong sense of ownership and has an analytical mindset
