Truck & Coach Technician 310T

Job Summary:

Completes troubleshooting, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop independently while coaching and developing less experienced technicians

We are looking for a talented Truck and Coach Technician (310T) to join our Distribution business in London, ON. 

Will make an impact in the following ways:

  Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop



• 
  

  Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools



• 
  

  Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles



• 
  

  Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies

  Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products



• 
  

  Maintain own tools

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Completes complex internal engine repairs

• Performs complex unassisted engine overhauls 

• Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools

• Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components

• Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Truck and Coach (310T) License is mandatory for this position.

• Minimum of five (5) years of Truck and Coach repair / service experience.

• Extensive knowledge of engine products

• Valid driver’s license

Position Details

• Day-shift, shop-based position in London, Ontario.
• Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - 5x8 shift
• Wage: $49.00–$51.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of engine repair experience, preferably with Cummins engines and transit bus applications.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing engines, including electronic systems and aftertreatment systems.
• Experience with major repairs and overhauls is an asset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, completing repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong commitment to safety and consistent adherence to HSE rules, procedures, and policies.
