Truck and Transport  Mechanic (Journeyperson)

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift | 40 hrs./week

What You’ll Work On:

• Vac trucks, hydro vacs, street sweepers, refuse/recycling trucks, and more.


• Heavy Duty & Municipal Equipment
  
  

Your day-to-day:

• Diagnostics


• Repairs and preventative maintenance


• Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, safe workspace.


• Collaborate with the Service Writer and Parts team to ensure efficient service.

What You Bring:

• Journeyperson Truck and Transport Mechanic (preferred) or Heavy Duty Equipment Technician


• 3+ years of experience with heavy-duty trucks or equipment


• CVIP license would be an asset (required for inspection work)


• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems


• Valid Driver’s License with satisfactory  abstract


• Positive attitude, safety-first mindset, and a team-oriented approach

***Similar experience may include Heavy Equipment Technician (HET), Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic (off-road), Field Service Technician, Transport Trailer Technician, Agricultural Equipment Technician,  

Diesel Mechanic,  Road Service Technician, Shop Mechanic, Lead Hand, Shop Foreman
