Job Description:

Nestbox AI is seeking a talented and passionate UI UX Designer to join our dynamic, inclusive and rapidly expanding team. As a UI UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating intuitive and visually stunning user interfaces for our cutting-edge generative AI platform. Your exceptional design skills and user-centric approach will contribute to delivering outstanding experiences for our enterprise clients. Location: Toronto, ON or Remote

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to understand project requirements and translate them into inclusive and user-centric design solutions.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate interaction and design ideas, taking into account accessibility best practices.

Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iteratively improve the user experience and ensure inclusivity.

Develop and maintain design guidelines, patterns, and libraries to ensure consistency and accessibility across the platform, considering diverse user needs.

Stay up to date with the latest UI UX trends, techniques, and technologies, and incorporate them into design processes, while considering accessibility standards and best practices.

Advocate for the user by identifying pain points and proposing innovative solutions that enhance the usability, accessibility, and inclusivity of the platform.

Work closely with development teams to ensure successful implementation of designs, provide guidance during the development process, and contribute to an inclusive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

2+ years of professional experience as a UI UX Designer, preferably in a B2B software development environment.

Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing inclusive user interfaces and experiences for complex web applications or software platforms.

Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.

Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, accessibility standards, and the importance of diversity and inclusivity in design.

Solid knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles, with a focus on accessibility and inclusive design.

Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and data-driven decision-making to inform inclusive design choices.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse stakeholders.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
