Job Description - Vestibular Physiotherapist

Our Client

Our Client is a new, progressive concussion and brain health clinic in Winnipeg dedicated to helping patients recover, rebuild confidence and improve their quality of life following concussion and other neurological challenges.

They are seeking a passionate and motivated Vestibular Physiotherapist to join their growing practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for a practicing physiotherapist who is eager to expand their clinical expertise and develop a specialized focus in concussion rehabilitation, vestibular therapy and neurological health.

Why This Opportunity?

If you are a physiotherapist who has ever thought about specializing in concussion and neurological rehabilitation but haven't had the opportunity to pursue the necessary training, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

The successful candidate is not required to be an existing expert in concussion rehabilitation. Our Client is prepared to make a significant investment in the right individual by fully funding your specialized training, providing you with the knowledge and skills to build a rewarding career in this growing area of physiotherapy. The training program is expected to take approximately three months and includes a professional training course worth $4,000, paid in full by the company.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physiotherapist who wants to develop a highly specialized area of practice while receiving significant support and mentorship along the way.

What's in it for YOU?

  • Full-time independent contractor opportunity

  • Earning potential of approximately $80,000–$100,000 annually

  • Compensation of up to 50% of billable patient rates

  • Comprehensive concussion rehabilitation and brain health training

  • $4,000 training program fully paid for by the company

  • Opportunity to develop a specialized practice focused on concussion, vestibular and neurological rehabilitation

  • Access to a group benefits package through the Chamber of Commerce, despite the independent contractor structure

  • Opportunity to work within a new, collaborative and patient-focused clinic environment

  • Ongoing professional growth and development

About the Training Period

The specialized training program is expected to take approximately three months to complete. As compensation is not available until the training has been successfully completed, candidates are encouraged to continue working at their current clinic(s) during the training period, where possible.

In exchange for the company fully funding the training program, the successful candidate will enter into an agreement committing to work with the clinic for a minimum of three years following completion of the training.

This arrangement provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to gain valuable, specialized training at no personal cost while the clinic makes a significant investment in their long-term professional development.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a physiotherapist who is:

  • licensed physiotherapist in Manitoba and in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body

  • Passionate about patient care and achieving meaningful clinical outcomes

  • Interested in developing a career focused on concussion rehabilitation, vestibular therapy and neurological conditions

  • Curious, coachable and eager to learn

  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with other healthcare professionals

  • A strong communicator who builds trust and rapport with patients

  • Motivated to continually develop their clinical knowledge and skills

  • Currently practicing as a physiotherapist and looking for an opportunity to specialize

Previous experience in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management or neurological physiotherapy would be an asset, but is not required. The willingness and ability to learn is what matters most.

Are You up to the Challenge?

If you're ambitious, passionate about helping patients recover from complex neurological challenges, and excited about becoming a specialist in concussion and brain health, we'd love to hear from you.
