Jim Peplinski Capital provides asset-backed lending and fleet management solutions across Canada. You’ll shape the financial and risk backbone of a company on track to triple its asset base by 2030.

As a key member of the executive team, you’ll work directly with the board and lead finance, credit, and risk — ensuring every dollar we lend, invest, and collect strengthens our long-term foundation. You communicate with clarity, lead with collaboration, and are ready to make an impact across the fleet and finance industry over the next decade.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, develop, and grow a high-performing team of finance and credit professionals.


• Protect the house — safeguard JPC’s integrity, capital, and financial returns.


• Develop and execute funding, hedging, and capital strategies that support sustainable growth.


• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and audit with precision and accountability.


• Build and strengthen banking, funding, and risk relationships that advance JPC’s objectives.


• Evaluate strategic opportunities to grow the business and enhance client value.


• Leverage technology to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the customer experience.

What You Bring

• Proven leadership in finance, risk, or treasury within a capital-intensive or financial services environment.


• Deep understanding of credit, funding, and risk frameworks that balance growth and protection.


• Strength in financial reporting, controls, and compliance — with an ability to communicate insights that drive strategy.


• Experience building trusted relationships with lenders, auditors, and executive stakeholders.


• A collaborative, decisive, and proactive approach to leadership.
