SOMMAIRE DU POSTE

Le Vice-président contrôle corporatif agit comme un leader financier clé au sein de l’organisation. Il est responsable de la qualité, de l’intégrité et de la fiabilité de l’information financière consolidée.

Il évolue dans un environnement multisociétés au Canada et aux États-Unis, en croissance organique et par acquisitions. Il joue un rôle à la fois stratégique et opérationnel, en soutenant la direction, en optimisant les processus et en encadrant l’équipe comptable.

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS

• Coordonner les clôtures mensuelles et produire les états financiers consolidés


• Assurer l’intégrité des données financières (conciliations, analyses d’écarts, suivi de performance)


• Fournir des analyses financières pertinentes à la direction et aux unités d’affaires


• Participer aux audits, budgets, prévisions et projets de transformation


• Mettre en place et améliorer les processus, politiques comptables et contrôles internes


• Piloter l’intégration financière des acquisitions


• Superviser, encadrer et développer l’équipe comptable


• Participer aux évaluations de performance et aux révisions salariales


• Planifier et prioriser le travail de l’équipe pour respecter les échéanciers

COMPÉTENCES:

• Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience dans un rôle similaire


• Titre CPA (obligatoire)
  


• Excellente maîtrise des systèmes financiers


• Solide expertise en comptabilité financière, consolidation et trésorerie


• Forte capacité d’analyse et bon jugement professionnel


• Rigueur et souci du détail


• Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités


• Leadership et capacité à mobiliser une équipe


• Bonnes habiletés de communication et collaboration


• Intérêt pour l’amélioration continue et les outils technologiques


• Expérience en environnement multisociétés et multi-devises (atout important)


• Expérience en gestion d’équipe


• Bilingue (français et anglais)afin de soutenir des parties prenantes dans les deux langues

POSITION SUMMARY

The Vice President, Corporate Control acts as a key financial leader within the organization. They are responsible for the quality, integrity, and reliability of consolidated financial information.

This role operates in a multi-entity environment across Canada and the United States, growing both organically and through acquisitions. The position is both strategic and operational, supporting senior leadership, optimizing processes, and leading the accounting team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate monthly close processes and prepare consolidated financial statements


• Ensure the integrity of financial data (reconciliations, variance analysis, performance tracking)


• Provide relevant financial analysis to management and business units


• Participate in audits, budgeting, forecasting, and transformation projects


• Establish and improve processes, accounting policies, and internal controls


• Lead the financial integration of acquisitions


• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team


• Participate in performance evaluations and salary reviews


• Plan and prioritize team workload to meet deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role


• CPA designation (required)


• Strong proficiency with financial systems


• Solid expertise in financial accounting, consolidation, and treasury


• Strong analytical skills and sound professional judgment


• High level of accuracy and attention to detail


• Ability to manage multiple priorities


• Leadership skills and ability to motivate a team


• Strong communication and collaboration skills


• Interest in continuous improvement and technology tools


• Experience in a multi-entity and multi-currency environment (strong asset)


• Experience managing a team


• Bilingual (French and English) to support stakeholders in both languages
