We have 1 vacancy for a full time year round Videographer/Photographer to join our team in Whitefish, Ontario. As a Videographer, you’ll be at the heart of our storytelling, capturing the excitement and adventure of the boating lifestyle. From stunning aerial drone shots to behind-the-scenes moments with our team, you’ll create engaging, high-quality content that brings our brand to life. Your work will inspire and connect with our audience across multiple platforms, making every frame an experience.

Compensation:

$45,000 - $55,000 annually based on experience and skills plus opportunity for performance-based bonuses, and career development.

The ideal candidate is: 

• Experienced videographer with a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in shooting and editing various types of boat-related lifestyle, production, and studio photos and videos.


• Proficient in operating drones for aerial photography and videography.


• Skilled in capturing behind-the-scenes moments, handling photoshoots, and editing digital videos to create engaging content.


• Demonstrated ability to create short form videos optimized for various social media platforms.


• Up-to-date with emerging video / photography technology and processes, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.


• Flexible and willing to travel to different shoot locations as required.


• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and represent the Legend Boats brand through visual storytelling.


• Strong project management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality assets on time.


• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to plan and execute quarterly and annual video/photography projects using project management tools such as Asana.


• Proactive in organizing and archiving production-related content to ensure efficient workflow and easy access to resources.

What will you be doing?

• Shoot and edit DRONE photos & videos.


• Capture behind-the-scenes photography, oversee photoshoots, and edit digital videos.


• Photograph boats for our website and catalog


• Produce Brand Ambassador videos


• Produce short form videos tailored for Social Media platforms.


• Stay abreast of evolving video / photography technology and processes.


• Travel as necessary to and from shoot locations.


• Record content featuring our team both on-site and in-office to enhance the Legend Boats brand.


• Oversee all technical aspects of photo/video shooting and editing.


• Demonstrate strong project management skills, managing projects from inception to completion.


• Strategize quarterly and annual Video/Photography projects.


• Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality results.


• Organize and maintain an archive of all production-related content.
