Volunteer and Student Coordinator

The Village of Ridgeview Court has an exciting opportunity for a Volunteer and Student Coordinator join their team. 

• Status: Permanent Full-Time

The hiring rate for this role is $46,350-49,700.

As our new Volunteer and Student Coordinator you will:

• Hold post-secondary education in a human services related field (Social Services, Recreation, Volunteer Services, Gerontology, etc.)


• Possess the ability to understand, accept, and relate to people regardless of physical, psychological or emotional conditions.


• Hold current Heart Save level of CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain).


• Experience with volunteers and/or student placements preferably in a health care or social services setting


• Provides leadership for volunteer and student programs including recruitment, orientation (warm welcome), engagement, supervision, ongoing education,
  evaluation and recognition activities


• Act as a liaison (where applicable), between the Village leadership, and postsecondary partners for the Living Classroom to ensure successful integration
  into Village life in partnership with the People Team at Support Office.


• Exhibit an enthusiasm for developing close ties between the community and the home.


• Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support
