Warehouse Receiver (Stale Crew)

Our Distribution Centre is looking for a new team member!

Location: 1425 The Queensway Etobicoke, ON M8Z 1T3 

Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday | 9:00am to 5:30pm

Pay rate: $18.60/hr

Responsibilities:

• Safely offload and transport stale bread to the disposal area
• Operate and monitor the compactor for proper waste management
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed 

Qualifications:

• Previous working in a warehouse receiving department is an asset experience
• You have strong people skills—you’re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic
• Work in a safe and conscientious manner 
• You’re dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues  
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.
• Possess some degree of mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in an efficient but safe manner.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong numeracy skills.
• Ability to think, troubleshoot and react to situations.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent attendance record.
