About Us

McArthur River, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mine. The uranium produced at McArthur River is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.

Position and Responsibilities

• Issuing materials from various warehouse facilities.


• Shipping and receiving.


• Inventory cycle counts and data entry.


• Loading and off-loading of all general freight.


• Using a handheld device and reporting in excel.


• Other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:

• grade 12 education or equivalent;


• minimum of five years of related experience in an industrial warehouse environment with experience in processes such as job kitting, cycle counting, and MRP review;


• equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered;


• advanced computer skills, specifically in Microsoft excel and an ERP system;


• forklift and loader operator certification;


• valid class 5 driver’s license;


• night shift and underground work as required; and


• work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Assets:

• experience working with SAP; and


• previous training in first aid, WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods.
