Weekend Egg Collector

Hutten’s Hen Haven is a growing poultry farming operation seeking Weekend Egg Collectors to join our team.

This is a hands-on position responsible for collecting, inspecting, sorting, and preparing eggs while assisting with general barn duties.

What You'll Do

• Collect eggs throughout the breeder barns.
• Inspect and sort eggs according to quality standards.
• Place eggs carefully into designated trays.
• Remove feathers and manure from eggs as required.
• Identify and separate inferior, small, double, or damaged eggs.
• Complete a second quality check before eggs are moved into the cooler.
• Walk through breeder barns to collect floor eggs.
• Move full egg dollies into the cooler for scheduled pickup.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow farm procedures, biosecurity requirements, and safety practices.
• Work efficiently both independently and alongside other team members.
• Assist with additional barn and farm duties as required.

• Follow established farm procedures and work instructions carefully.

• Previous farm, poultry, agricultural, food production, warehouse, or other physically active work experience is an asset but not required.

• $18-$22/hour
