Tasks

Interpret welding process specifications

Carbon Arc Air Gouging

Plasma & Oxy Fuel Cutting

Flux Core Welding (1/16’’ & 3/32)

MCAW Welding (1/16’’)

SMAW Welding

Mig Welding (0.035)

Line Boring Experience

Fitting & Fabrication

Heavy Equipment Rebuilds (Buckets, Haul Trucks etc.)

Overhead Crane Experience

High English Speaking & Writing Skills

Determine weldability of materials

Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products

Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment

Additional information

Work conditions and physical capabilities:

Attention to detail

Hand-eye co-ordination

• Proficiency in both French and English
