Welder

Responsibilities

• Perform Mig and Tig on welding steel and aluminum sign components


• Fabricate sign structures according to blueprint drawings


• Cut and fit material using saws , shears ,brakes and other shop equipment


• Inpsect finished welds quality and accuracy


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment


• Measuring, cutting, grinding, tack welding and welding steel components.


• Applicant must be physically fit as this position requires dexterity and a lot of standing and bending and lifting

Compensation can be based on related skills and experience.($23.70 up to $24.70 plus .25 premium  per hour for a valid welding certificate. 

Qualifications

• Valid certification in 47.1 and 47.2


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality


• Reliable , punctual , and safety-conscious


• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
