Winter Construction Foreman Interlock/Hardscape (Year-Round Opportunity)

Are you a skilled construction leader looking for steady winter work with a company that keeps you employed all year long? We are seeking an experienced Interlock / Hardscape Foreman to join our team starting this winter, with the opportunity to continue through the full construction season and beyond.

You’ll be leading crews on some of the largest and most high-profile landscape construction projects in Canada’s capital, including Parliament (West Block & Centre Block), Lansdowne Park, Rideau Street, Elgin Street, and multiple O-Train (OLRT) stations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead crews on commercial interlock and hardscape projects, including winter construction work


• Read and interpret site plans, grades, and drawings


• Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower to meet project schedules


• Ensure high standards of workmanship, safety, and quality control


• Complete daily reports and communicate progress with project managers

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in interlock and hardscape installation (commercial experience preferred)


• Proven leadership experience as a foreman or supervisor


• Strong understanding of grading, base preparation, and paver installation


• Valid G-class (or higher) driver’s license
