Job Description - Workday Business Analyst - Payroll - HYBRID

Our Vancouver client is launching a transformative ERP project focused on migrating to Workday for enhanced HR, payroll, and finance operations. We are seeking a skilled Payroll Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in this initiative. As part of the project team led by a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing current payroll processes, preparing specifications, and documenting requirements using BPMN. Responsibilities
• Analyze current payroll processes and identify areas for improvement and integration within the Workday ERP system.
• Prepare functional, non-functional, and technical specifications for payroll module configuration.
• Facilitate workshops to gather payroll requirements and document business processes using BPMN.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of payroll system configurations with organizational needs and industry best practices.
• Support testing, data migration, and training efforts related to the Workday payroll module implementation.

Qualifications
• 5-8 years of experience specifically in implementing Workday ERP systems, with a focus on the payroll module.
• Proven track record of successfully leading or supporting payroll module implementations in large-scale ERP projects.
• Expertise in analyzing, documenting, and optimizing payroll processes using industry-standard methodologies.
• Strong understanding of business analysis principles and experience in gathering and documenting requirements.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field; certifications in Workday HCM or relevant areas preferred.
