Workforce Development Lead Hands

The Workforce Development Lead Hands  for Night and Days for Evis/ Kill assist in the coordination of training, recertification and sign-off of employees to maintain a safe, aware, and knowledgeable workforce adhering to health and safety, food safety and organizational standards. The Lead Hand will report directly to the Training Supervisor.

Job Duties:

• 
  Process applicable paperwork and update training tracking files.
  • Co-ordinate training plan with trainers.
  • Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
  • Communicate job standards and expectations with the trainee.
  • Assist trainers, provide direction, guidance and assign work.
  • Work in job rotation as required.
  • Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure training meets quality standards.
  • Determine and report employee training progress to the appropriate authority.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency, reporting any issues to the applicable Supervisor.
  • Participate in educational and training opportunities applicable to the position.
  
  

Requirements:
• Previous Eden Valley Poultry experience.
• Ability to do various jobs in production.
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• Ability to communicate logically ordered objectives.

• Experience with MS Excel preferred.


• Strong leadership skills.


• Excellent organizational skills.


• Ability to work as a team.
