Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. About the role

We are looking for a Workforce Planning Specialist to join our growing team for a 6-month secondmen!

Who are we?

The team’s mission is to support and ensure the smooth operation of the underwriting process daily, drawing on a scope that includes underwriting support, the Personal and Prestige lines, the Resolution Center, and the Quality Center of Excellence. It is organized around two complementary teams: on the one hand, a short-term team, highly active on the ground, managing operations on an intraday basis; on the other hand, a team of Advisors, who ensure a reliable analysis of monthly performance and beyond by developing long-term budget forecasts, presenting trends and analyses to senior management, and by monitoring the impact of projects—particularly on transaction times—to inform decisions and effectively guide priorities.

The Role

The role of the advisors is to provide a clear and actionable view of the business by transforming data into analyses, benchmarks, and management tools. On a daily basis, they work closely with teams and business partners to understand the challenges, inform decisions, and highlight what matters most. It is a role that is both independent and highly collaborative, where we don’t just present numbers: we explain what they mean, put trends into perspective, and help plan for the future.

Location: the position is available in the Montreal, Laval, St-Hyacinthe and Quebec offices.

What you’ll accomplish with us:

• Manage the workforce planning tool for your region by providing the data needed to adjust key performance indicators for the coming months.
• Prepare documents, forecasts, and recommendations for the following year’s budget during the budget season.
• Lead monthly capacity planning meetings with your partners.
• Analyze changes in the various performance indicators that impact the capacity plan.
• Review long-term forecasts and align them with recent trends.
• Apply and integrate forecasting analysis and workforce-related metrics to provide strategic and operational data for workforce decision-making and recommend workforce priorities to the director.
• Provide support to the intra-daily team members regarding workforce planning.
• Produce and analyze weekly and monthly reports and ensure that our data aligns with operational realities.
• Ensure that the workforce planning framework aligns with Intact’s strategies and provide planning expertise.
• Collaborate regularly and offer resource management expertise to various partners.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• A university degree (business, mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, engineering, actuarial science) or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience in workforce planning.
• Ability to influence various stakeholder groups and translate strategy into action.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A strategic thinker who is not afraid to challenge the status quo.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Bilingual (French and English) – Must be able to communicate regularly with colleagues across the country.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• No prior work experience in Canada required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
