Headwater Equipment is now hiring, we are looking for a Yard Manager to work out of our Coalhurst Shop. An experience running heavy duty equipment is preferred.

Work Hours and Locations:

• Will be working in our shop near Lethbridge AB


• Some travel may be required to our other locations on day trips in company vehicles


• Accommodations and living out allowance is provided for work away from our shop


• Job will require being outside a good portion of the day 


• Successful candidate will be expected to be living in the Lethbridge area


• Monday to Friday work schedule - hours ranging from 8 to 11

Pay Structure:

• Pay range will be $25 to $30 per hour depending on experience


• Overtime is paid after 8 hours per day


• Paid 1/2 hour lunch break

Applicants should have

• Experience in the construction industry or a farming background


• Experience running heavy construction equipment


• A mechanical aptitude and an interest in mechanical work


• Be able to take direction and work well with others


• Good Problem Solving Skills


• Valid drivers license with a fairly clean abstract


• Enjoy working in a team environment

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the overall yard including but not limited to the following:

• Moving Materials 


• Operate telehandlers and forklifts - assist in managing yard inventory locations


• Loading & Unloading attachments and equipment 


• Arranging and staging of New and Used Equipment


• Snow Removal and Yard Maintenance


• General shop laborer duties 


• Completing daily inspections of Mobile Equipment and Cranes in shop

Other requirements

• Pre-employment fit for duty and drug screening testing

• Based out of our Coalhurst Shop located at 5-92041 River Ridge Rd (5kms west of Lethbridge)

We are a Heavy Equipment Sales and Service company, we refurbish and repair late model Cat/Deere/Hitachi heavy construction equipment. We are also a Sany America, Rokbak Trucks dealer, as well as a Cummins and Isuzu Certified repair center. Headwater runs a very clean modern shop with separate Welding, Washing and Paint bays.
