About the role

We are building a talent pipeline for future Yardperson opportunities at our Hollinger, Ontario operation. In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting blast crews, maintaining yard operations, and ensuring equipment, materials, and worksites are organized, safe, and ready for production activities.

Mining & Construction Experience Welcome
Experience in mining, construction, quarrying, heavy industry, or equipment operation is highly valued. If you're safety-focused, hands-on, and enjoy working as part of a team, this could be the opportunity for you.

Work Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off

What You'll Do

As a Yardperson, you'll contribute directly to the success of our operations by:

•    Supporting a strong safety culture through proper PPE use and safe work practices.
•    Maintaining clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
•    Loading and unloading trucks and materials.
•    Assisting blast crews and other team members as required.
•    Helping ensure equipment, tools, and supplies are ready for daily operations. 

What We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you have:

Required
•    1+ year of construction, industrial, mining, or related field experience. 

Preferred
•    High school diploma or equivalent.
•    Experience in mining, quarrying, construction, or heavy industrial environments.
•    Knowledge of construction equipment, materials, and site safety practices.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Previous commercial construction experience.

•    Candidates with direct MMU and relevant industry experience may be considered for compensation review.
