Youth Volunteer Facilitator (Ages 1624)

Time Commitment: Approx. 5 to 10 hours/month 

Overview: 
The Women’s Centre of York Region (WCYR) is seeking passionate youth leaders (ages 16–24) to volunteer as workshop facilitators. This is a great opportunity to share your skills, inspire others, and gain meaningful experience—all while having fun! 

Volunteer Roles Available: 

We’re looking for youth to lead engaging workshops in one or more of the following areas: 

• Beauty & Makeup
  


• Art Activities


• Social Media
  

What You’ll Do: 

• Plan and lead workshops for participants aged 16+
  


• Share your skills and creativity in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment
  


• Collaborate with WCYR staff to ensure sessions are engaging and appropriate
  


• Serve as a positive role model and help create a welcoming space
