Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, customer, and market data to identify trends and opportunities within specific product categories.
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to develop and implement strategies that drive category growth.
• Monitor category performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with the procurement and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels and product assortments.
• Conduct competitive analysis to ensure our offerings are market-leading.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on category performance for senior management.
• Support the merchandising team in the planning and execution of promotional activities.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to launch new products or categories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis, category management, or a related field, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage projects.
• A passion for sports and an understanding of the sporting goods industry is an asset.
