Position: Category Manager (Consumer Electronics)

Our client, a company specialized in consumer electronics, is looking for a Category Manager to join their amazing team!

Your profile?

- 4-5 years of relevant experience in sales, retail or merchandizing in consumer electronics
- Fully bilingual to communicate with clients and suppliers across Canada
- Knowledge of and experience working with web marketing tools
- Previous experience working with/for buying groups or distribution networks
- Strong negotiation skills

Your role?

- Maintain and promote an excellent partnership with suppliers and members
- Visit suppliers and participate in dealer conferences as needed
- Support the planning, development, budgeting, booking, distribution, and delivery of the marketing program
- Collaborate with the lead of the cross-divisional marketing strategy to enhance company profitability
- Develop strategies to grow the consumer electronics category
- Negotiate vendor agreements
- Align membership growth plans with the VP, Member Development, and the Business Development Manager
