The Role:

Reporting into the Senior Call Center Manager, Collection, the Collections Agent is responsible for managing and minimizing collections risk and exposure, associated with account charge offs. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing such scenarios with our customers by building rapport and offering solutions that will benefit both parties involved.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide excellent customer service to Neo’s clients in an empathetic and professional manner 
  • Discuss overdue accounts and negotiate payment options to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Address credit related complaints and advise on recommended solutions.
  • Maintain detailed online documentation of collection actions and correspondence with customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Be a part of a high performing team who strives to exceed daily and monthly target

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in a high volume outbound call center
  • Past experience in credit and collections or customer service is considered an asset
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • A knack for negotiation and problem solving while adapting to customer specific situations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, completing repetitive duties while multi-tasking
