What we are hiring for:

We are currently hiring Full-Time Direct Support Coordinators for our support locations in Alvinston and Oil Springs.

Direct Support Coordinators make a difference in people's lives by providing support to people with developmental disabilities in all activities of daily living in their homes and the community and by fostering independence and personal growth. In conjunction with the person, their team and family/friends, DSCs are responsible for planning and overseeing provision of support, along with creating skill development opportunities for people supported in aspiration to reach their life goals.

What you will need:

• Developmental Service Worker or related diploma (ex. SSW, CYW, B.A. in Psychology, Social Work, etc.)
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
• Valid "G or G2" class license and reliable vehicle
• Be willing to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Current certification in First Aid/CPR required
• Current certification in NVCPI or willing to obtain

Compensation and scheduling:

• $26.38 - $27.19 per hour based on experience
• Full-time - 40 hours per week including days, afternoons and weekends
