The Role
As a key member of our team the Housekeeping Manager will support the Director of Rooms in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Rooms department. They will help with planning and coordinating schedules and activities to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and service are maintained. The Housekeeping Manager will be highly flexible, with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
Your contributions to the team include:

• Supervise the housekeeping team and provide positive leadership.
• Address guests’ inquiries, complaints, concerns, and requests with a high level of hospitality and professionalism.
• Assist the Director of Rooms with various managerial tasks and duties as needed.
• Additional tasks and duties as assigned.

A few things we are looking for in a new team member:

• 3+ years of progressive work experience in hospitality as a Housekeeping Manager.
• Previous experience developing and managing a team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of guests and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required.
• Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills.
• Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Highly flexible, with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
• Working knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Working knowledge of laundry operations.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products.
