Job Description - Inside Client Executive, Business Insurance

INSID011605_2 Business Line: Commercial Lines, Small/Medium Enterprise Business Hours Per Week: 35 (Full-Time) Location: Ontario - Any location - Hybrid Setting ( Job Duration: Full-Time, Permanent Compensation: Salary + Commissions About The Role We’re looking for an Inside Sales Account Executive/Producer to join our award-winning Business Insurance division for our clients in Ontario. The Client Executive will leverage their industry knowledge & experience to initiate and develop new commercial lines relationships for Small/Medium Enterprise Business. What You’ll Do
  • Providing expert advice, recommendations, and counseling to prospects about their business insurance coverage geared to their unique needs and exposures of the Small to Medium Sized Enterprise
  • Meeting and/or exceeding individual sales targets as well as department goals
  • Develop submissions (in conjunction with commercial lines underwriting staff) to markets that will meet present/emerging needs of the client and close the sale
  • Maintaining professional and collaborative relationships with key underwriters
  • Resolving any concerns or complaints with a professional demeanor by leveraging product and service knowledge
  • Quoting new prospects using Applied Rating Services, PolicyWorks and Company Portals
  • Representing the brokerage at industry functions when required
  • Keeping current on industry changes, underwriting rules, and workflow processes
  • Actively participate in training initiatives
  • Hand-off responsibility for provision of service to clients to the relevant Client Manager in the service teams
What You Bring
  • Valid RIBO License Required (other provincial licenses are a plus)
  • Typically, 1+ years of commercial lines insurance sales experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of risks associated with SME Business (Contractors, Professional Liability, Retail, etc.)
  • Self-Motivated with a passion for sales & committed to delivering a top-notch client experience
  • Self-managing with strong analytical, organizational and prioritization skills with attention to the details
  • Confident, poised and interactive - when client-facing communicates effectively, demonstrates emotional intelligence, and understands how to tailor responses in a variety of dynamic situations
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team player with the ability to adapt to and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven technical competency and creativity demonstrating excellence in developing and delivering innovative property and casualty solutions
  • Excellent computer skills expected and EPIC fluency an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products – specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
