Job Title: IT Business Systems Analyst

Reporting to: Director of IT, North America

Location: Hybrid, Mississauga Ontario

Position Type: Ful-Time, Permanent

Salary Range: $70K-80K per annum

As an IT Business System Analyst your key responsibilities are implementing systems and completing different IT projects. You work with both Internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure we are compliant.

 

 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Owning and executing the technical roadmap for line of business systems including (POS, Omni-Channel, mobile, e-Commerce, EDI, etc.)
  • Identifying issues and optimizations relative to business systems capability and provide solutions/workarounds to drive efficiencies
  • Partnering with business leaders to gather specific requirements for new business system development (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.)
  • Translating business requirements to execute goals and initiatives on time.
  • Act as a project manager and for internal stakeholder business technology projects/initiatives and identify risks/issues and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Create, update and maintain detailed documentation including data maps, integration sources, process flows, etc for business applications
  • Conduct user acceptance training, create documentation and provide support during implementation and post implementation phases.
  • Administering changes/fixes across multiple SaaS and on-premise packages
  • Continuously cultivating the relationship with systems/support vendors
  • Driving system reliability by ensuring systems are up and running efficiently.
  • This is an 3-day a week in office role and may require occasional travel to remote sites within the GTA.

 

In addition to the job responsibilities, the ideal candidate must possess the following qualities:

  • Effective – The candidate must prioritize tasks and communicate the status of projects to both the key stakeholders/management and the rest of the Systems/Technology team.
  • Personable – The candidate develops relationships with both the user and external-partner communities using effective communication to solve their concerns.
  • Detailed – The candidate focuses on the required details of their tasks to ensure accurate completion of all requirements for the position (including updating documentation/inventories and accurate timesheets)

 

Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge/Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues and computer/systems diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of basic networking fundamentals (TCPIP, Subnetting, VLANs etc)
  • In depth knowledge of usage and troubleshooting the Microsoft Office suite
  • In depth knowledge of the Office 365 platform and associated applications (OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, InTune, Azure Active Directory, etc.)
  • Knowledge of MDM fundamentals for macOS/iOS/iPadOS
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of large scale IT projects (Primarily systems integrations and implementations)
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new processes, systems and applications.
  • Previous experience working within a PCI compliant environment (maintaining documentation, identifying gaps and filling in self assessment questionnaires)
  • Previous working experience in the Telecommunications industry is a benefit
  • Previous exposure to the iQMetrix application stack is a benefit
  • Relevant industry certifications such as PMP, IIBA (ECBA, CCBA, CBPA, etc), PMI-PBA, are a benefit.
