Position Overview

A successful marketing assistant will be a resultsoriented selfstarter who is meticulously detailoriented able to manage multiple projects at once and possess excellent time management skills to thrive in a fastpaced environment. A quick and creative thinker with some direct marketing related experience with an eagerness to learn and be challenged.

Accountabilities

• Daily support for the marketing team and internal business units.
• Write meeting minutes and organize marketing files (may involve creation of planners/trackers)
• Shipping out samples and collateral to our branches and supporting the sales team.
• Making marketing hand samples or coordinating the creation of them
• Assist with showroom management
• Preparing monthly sales meeting slides for Marketing Team Lead
• Creating and auditing reports (budgets campaigns etc.)
• Redirecting leads from our website uploading content onto our CMS and making small changes to the site.
• Completing purchase requisitions in Salesforce and entering invoices.
• Liaison between social media third party and digital marketing agency.
• Graphic design for small internal and external projects.
• Coordination of photography and video projects.
• Sending out eblasts to our customers

Education / Certification

• Degree in Marketing Graphic Design Communications Communications Design or Business.
• Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
• Google Facebook Udemy and HubSpot Certifications are considered an asset

Experience

• 02 years’ experience in a marketing role
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign Illustrator Photoshop etc.) or Canva
• Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic photography and videography skills are an asset
• Strong organization skills and exemplary attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to managed multiple tasks and set priorities
• Working under tight deadlines with various stakeholders
• Strong Work Ethic with a “Can Do” attitude.
• Knowledge of residential and commercial construction is a definite asset

• Background in interior design merchandising or construction vertical is a definite asset
