Pharmacy Technician

POSITION LOCATION: OWEN SOUND DEPARTMENT: RETAIL PHARMACY UNION AFFILIATION: OPSEU – HPD STATUS: CASUAL WAGE RATE: $32.32 – $37.26 Reporting to the Retail Pharmacy Manager, the Retail Pharmacy Technician is an active part of the Pharmacy team. The Retail Pharmacy Technician is a Regulated Pharmacy Technician that works to the full extent of their scope of practice with the Pharmacist in delivery of quality pharmacy services. Required Qualifications / Skills / Abilities:

• Graduate of a CCAPP Accredited Pharmacy Technician Education Program
• Current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
• 3-5 years relevant experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member
• Recent satisfactory performance and attendance records
