Job Description - Pricing Supervisor

Pricing Supervisor Location Mississauga, ON : Overview: The Pricing Supervisor is instrumental in ensuring the dynamic accuracy and timely implementation of pricing strategies. Collaborating closely with Pricing Analysts, this role is dedicated to upholding compliance with Pepsi's Quarterly Business Plan. The position involves active engagement with various teams, including Accounts Receivable, Field Market Units, Customer Finance Managers, and Key Account Managers. Direct interaction with influential stakeholders is a key aspect of this role, including the Directors of Retail and Financial Directors in Food Service. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic pricing decisions that drive business success. Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accurate and timely entry of pricing into Smart Deal, reflecting a commitment to excellence.
  • Review and validate pricing and customer expirations, following GCS guidelines for proper approval processes.
  • Keep a vigilant eye on customer increases, promptly escalating non-increases to facilitate quick resolution.
  • Complete weekly, period, and quarterly reporting, with a specific focus on Price Overrides, Short Pays, Deal Expirations, DN Tier Analysis, and other ad hoc responsibilities.
  • Actively participate in calls with Headquarters, particularly in Deal Enhancements, contributing valuable insights to shape impactful decisions.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting, emphasizing positive impacts on customers, suppliers, and internal partners.
  • Extend support to Pricing Team, Market Units (MU), and Business Units (BU) users, actively participating in strategy development and addressing challenges.
  • Lead training for new employees, providing comprehensive guidance on tools and processes to help establish goals and responsibilities.
  • Uphold Pricing Policies and procedures, ensuring the team's compliance and fostering a culture of adherence.
  • Integrate and adhere to audit controls meticulously, ensuring the highest standards of financial practices.
  • Play a crucial role in facilitating the transition into SAP/S4HANA for the new pricing application, showcasing adaptability and expertise.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business.
    • Five years of finance experience an asset.
    • Two years supervisory experience an asset.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
    • Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills.
    • Proven communication and superior customer service skills.
    • Ability to negotiate and diffuse conflict from internal and external partners.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to work well under pressure within deadlines.
    • Proven leadership and management capabilities and professional maturity
