Job Summary:
The Retail Sales Supervisor supervises the day-to-day operations of the Macs Convenience store and oversees the work of other employees. The retail supervisor helps ensure that the team is providing quality customer service, and the store is running smoothly and efficiently.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
• Assign sales workers to duties
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Order merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers

Minimum Skills Requirements:
– Completion of secondary school is required;
– At least seven (7) months of prior work experience in a retail sales position is required;
– Prior supervisory experience is an asset;
– Fluency in written and verbal English is required;
– Must be dependable, reliable and have effective interpersonal skills.
