Job Description - Sales and Marketing Coordinator

The following position is open in  Manitoba ,  Canada .

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) the Sales & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for providing sales administrative support to the RSM, the MB,SK & AB reions and the Sales team in delivery of volume, market share, and profit targets for assigned brands.

Role Responsibilities

Report Preparation and Review

  • Prepare, coordinate and generate monthly sales reporting such as monthly reports, KPI input – Product applications, competitive activity and pricing reports.


General Administration and Coordination

  • Work closely with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and Liquor Board to create compelling programs that achieve Beam Suntory and customer goals. Collaborate on special events, consumer tastings, product knowledge and retail program executions.
  • Ensure that national and/or regional consumer marketing programs are communicated to the sales team and ensure effectiveness of these programs.
  • Manage the marketing and trade promotion calendar by brand, ensuring retail programs are incorporated with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) alignment.
  • SAP management – create SAP campaigns, create Purchase Orders (PO’s) and tracking
  • Distribution of Sell Sheets, kits, value adds etc. to Sales team
  • Updating and Monitoring budgets created by Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
  • Coordination of licensee & special events
  • Order menus and printouts
  • New and allocated product & Special Order listing applications
  • Update price lists
  • In conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager, review Forecast for accuracy
  • Assist in preparation of presentations.
  • General administration – coordinating visits, hotel bookings, travel arrangements, ordering lunches, administrative support for the sales team
  • Creation of excel spreadsheets, detailed PowerPoint Presentations & general office facilitation between Regional Sales Manager & Sales Representatives.

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary education in Business Administration desirable
  • 1-2 years’ experience in related industry or field
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Must have proven Sales Support experience, worked independently with minimum supervision
  • Must have attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, be self-motivated and take initiative
