Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a leading Canadian retail company. We are currently hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team on an 8 Month contract basis (until the end of December 2024), which has the possibility of extension. This candidate will be working remotely from home.
Your new role
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs for all Pharmacist roles in Northern Ontario.
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g., social platforms and professional networks).
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews.
- Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System.
- Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements.
- Present and negotiate offers to candidates
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
- Liaise with all hiring managers on a weekly and bi-weekly basis
What you'll need to succeed
- 2+ years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role.
- Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Previous experience using Workday would be an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
