Sweat and Tonic (S&T) is Toronto's most innovative and exciting boutique fitness and wellness hub, offering the widest collection of expertly programmed yoga, Pilates, HIIT, and ride group fitness classes in Canada. Since opening in 2019, we've innovated and expanded our state-of-the art classes across multiple channels: In-studio, Sweat in the Park, Sweat Live, Sweat on Demand, and Sweat on the Roof – a one-of-a-kind, outdoor rooftop fitness studio in the heart of downtown Toronto. In 2023, we opened our first international sister location, Silver Springs, a boutique yoga and Pilates oasis in the heart of Los Angeles, and a new 25,000 sq.ft. immersive fitness & wellness hub in Toronto at The Well. About the Role:

We are in search of committed and enthusiastic part-time and full-time wellness enthusiasts to join our dynamic team in this truly unique role of Wellness Guide at our new Tonic Spa, Wellness and Recovery Hub.The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and can effectively execute in a busy environment. As a Wellness Guide you will be the face of our brand, providing outstanding customer service and support to our guests through a variety of high-tech biohacking equipment such as, redlight therapy, compression therapy, cryotherapy, hot/cold contrast therapy as well as our hydrotherapy pool and circuit. This role requires a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills and experience working in a health and wellness clinic or luxury spa. 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests/patients upon arrival
  • Guided tours of our wellness spa
  • Maintain a clean and tidy pool deck while ensuring that spa guests have everythig they need to enjoy their experience
  • Attend to our guests on our all season patio, attending to any food and beverage orders in a timely fashion
  • Guide cryotherapy, compression and red-light therapy sessions
  • Attend to room turn-overs between hot/cold contrast therapy appointments
  • Educate our guests on the benefits of our extensive service menu
  • Address client inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Coordinate with the lead wellness concierge, wellness guides, and spa manager to ensure our guests/patients have an exceptional experience
  • Participate in process improvement projects and attend required meetings and training sessions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

About You:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer service type role. 
  • Ideally has worked whthin a spa or health clinic environment
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent command of the English language; additional languages are an asset
  • Strong sales experience can be an assest 
  • Passionate about health & fitness 
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed (a minimum of 2 shifts per week are required)
